Nicknames

All babies get nicknames. Scott was "Scotty Otty." Will was "the bug." Jaime was, and still is, "the bean." What nickname(s) did you or your children have? Leave a comment. I would love to see them.

Kyle has gotten a few nicknames too. Scott calls him "buddy" or "Tiger." I call him "little man" or "sweet boy." Recently, we've added, "little porker," as he's only four weeks old and he's drinking 4-5 oz. every three hours. And then he's earned another nickname based on this face that we see all the time.

"Popeye"

I call Kai a variety of things--most commonly Buddy. But he's also called little man, Kaister, and Kai Kai.

cute, cute, cute... we call Dylan "buddy" now, but when he was tiny, we called him our little "burrito" because he liked to be swaddled really tight. :)

Garrett has always been Bubba ( my Aunts fault!), Sabrina goes by Princess Bear, and Justin is Pork Chop...the crazy part is that I don't remember how Sabrina and Justin got their nicknames!

Kayla-Ann is Tannie (a little girl at daycare couldn't say her name - it stuck or KA for short, Matthew is Chubaka or Chu - uor daycare provider's husband gave it to him and of course he is a huge Star Wars nut, Mike is Kegs or Pounder (Pounder was his friend's nickname that passed away and we named Matthew after him), mine simply Bren-Bren - a friend of Mike's gave it to me soon after we met & Bertha - my step-dad came up with that one (only 2 people call me that - LOL). They will just come!

CUTE!! I call Gemma Pea, short for sweet pea and Stella is Stelly. I was Jana Banana, Cecil and Slam. Don't ask. I love those pics. Kyle is precious.

We have all kinds of nicknames for our boys - Cameron is mostly "Lumpy" or "Porkchop", and Carson is mostly "Farmer Pickles" or "Barley"! Don't remember how they came about either, they just stuck.

What a great pic! My family was very into nicknames so I went by (in no particular order) Sweet Pea, Libby Lou, Sarah Bernhardt, Stinkbean and probably another half-dozen I've forgotten. Jaime also goes by Mr. Bean and El Jaime (Spanish pronunciation); Tomi goes by Tomi-Girl and Princess (for obvious reasons). They're both "wumps" and are occasionally referred to as Noise 1 and Noise 2.
My brother had way more ... he has been (deep breath) Mickelmouse, Mickelmoose, Mike, Moose, Moosilage and Squirt (in a strictly ironic way). How's that? : )

I was a Sweet Pea, too! Little did they know what they were in for...ha ha ha

Since this post Kyle has had a couple of other nicknames. The best of which the Gardners gave him - Kyola! Including King Kyola and Emperor Kyola.
